SEDGLEY'S second string highlighted the difference in levels when they knocked Rochdale out of this season's Lancashire Cup at the first round stage on Saturday, 41-3 at Park Lane.

The Sedgley v Rochdale game was the only one to go ahead, with a number of teams being awarded walkovers and games cancelled due to the weather and league commitments. The draw form the next round is due to made on Wednesday, February 14, 2007.

The second round is due to be played on the weekend of Saturday 10 and Sunday, March 11; the semis on March 24-25 and the final on Saturday April 21 (venue and KO TBA).
