THE Tigers' Second XV, bolstered by one or two First XV squad players finally overcame a determined Burnage side to claim a place in the semi-finals of this season's Lancashire Cup on Sunday, 20-13, with Dave Livesey and Tom Albinson running in the tries.

Elsewhere Manchester defeated Fylde 46-29, while the results from the two other quarter-finals have yet to be announced.

The semi-finals are due to be played the weekend of March 24-25 with the final slated for Saturday, April 21.
