Sedgley started with a different looking starting line up again suffering from lack of backs.

Marple started much sharper and struck the first blow with a try.

Sedgley's new look team started to gel and were looking better as time went on.

After persistance sedgley scored through new centre Scott Cunliffe but the conversion was missed.

After the restart sedgely kept up the pressure but marple held strong, Sedgely opted for a drop goal slotted over by Scott Cunliffe.

Half time came about and a few changes were made by both teams. Sedgley started well and again kept pressure on Marple. Eventually this was awarded by a try from Adam Missle the converstion was missed.

Marple's changes gave them some much needed pace and this troubled Sedgley. One winger in particular Sedgley made the mistake of kicking to him one too many times and his good work created a try. This brought the game to Sedgley 13 - Marple 12.
