Exeter Chiefs 53 London Welsh 5

Exeter Chiefs went into second place in the table after this home win over London Welsh running in seven tries too one. Leading the way with a club equalling four tries was winger Jason Luff who doubled his tally for the season to eight and was joined on eight by the Chiefs other wing Josh Drauniniu to lead the try scoring list.
Danny Gray put over a couple of penalty goals to give the home side a 6-0 lead after nine minutes.
Luff got his first try on 12 minutes and completed his hat trick on 35 minutes and with Drauniniu going over they led 34-0 at half time.
They got two more tries in the opening 13 minutes of the second half and a huge defeat was looking on the cards at Luff got his club equalling fourth try and it was 48-0.
Both sides ran in a try in the last few minutes as the Chiefs scoring slowed right down.
Pertemps Bees 32 Cornish All Blacks 8

The Bees moved off the bottom of the table after this home win over the Cornish All Blacks at Sharmans Cross Road.
The home side were in front on eight minutes when left wing Miles Benjamin went over the Blacks line and they led 5-0. Fly half Joe Carlisle slotted over a penalty goal on 16 minutes to make it 8-0 to the Bees and added a 2nd on 24 minutes. Just a minute later hooker Owen Hambly got the visitors back in the game touching down over the Bees line. Late in the half Carlisle went over for a try and converted it to leave the home side 18-5 ahead, just before the break Stuart Alred put over a penalty goal for the visitors and they went in 10 points behind.
Five minutes into the second half and Benjamin went in for a 2nfd try and with Carlisle converting they were 25-8 ahead and on their way to their first win of the season.
They wrapped up the win 10 minutes form the end when flanker Will Matthews touched down and scrum half Paul Knight replaced.
Coventry 43 Moseley 16

Comfortable home win for Coventry over Moseley after falling 10-0 down in the opening seven minutes after Matt Jones kicked a penalty goal and then converted a try form wing Nathan Bressington. It took the home side four minutes to respond with second row Gregor Gillanders going over and seven minutes later they were n front after full back Ben Russell converted his own try for 12-10. Late in the half Russell and Jones exchanged penalty goals to leave it at 15-13 to the home side.
Six minutes into the second half and winger Kurt Johnson went over the Moseley try line and Russell converted for a seven point lead.
Jones pulled three points back for Moseley but Coventry went on to run in three more tries for a comfortable win with Gillanders getting the final try to wrap up the win.
Newbury 24 Rotherham 35

Rotherham Titans are up into 6th place in the table after this away win at Newbury who slipped to a fifth defeat of the season in the opening seven matches.
Newbury were first on the scoreboard as No 8 Tom Brown went over and centre Chris Ashwin converted for 7-0 in the 4th minute. It took the home side six minutes to reply with centre Mark Lawson touching down and Michael Whitehead converted to level the scores. He then put over a couple of penalty goals to edge the visitors 13-7 ahead before converting the second Titans try form flanker Alex Dunlop and it was 20-7 and it stayed that way till the break.
It took them just a minute of the 2nd half to get a third try as winger Jon Feeley touched down, Newbury responded with a try form left wing Martin Nutt bit on 54 minutes the other Titans winger Stephen Grissing went over for the bonus point try and it was 30-12 after 54 minutes.
The home side got their third try just before the hour mark as flanker Chris Morgan went over and Ashwin converted. Both sides scored tries late on as Titans wrapped up the win and the home side managed a try bonus point.
Bedford Blues 13 Plymouth Albion 10

A home win for the Blues, who close to within two points of Albion in the league table.
Jon Elrick kicked the home side into a 6-0 lead with two penalty goal in the first 32 minutes for the match.
In injury time at the end of the half the visitors went in front as No 8 Adam Kettle went over and Ross Laidlaw converted for a 7-6 lead.
15 minutes into the 2nd half full back Brendan Burke went over and Elrick converted for a 13-7 lead. Just after the hour mark Laidlaw closed the gap with a penalty goal but the remaining 18 minutes were scoreless and the Blues took the win and Albion left with a losing bonus point.
Northampton Saints 39 Doncaster 17

The top of the table clash saw the Saints run out comfortable winners over Doncaster outscoring the visitors five tries too two. It was Doncaster who went in front with flanker Scott Gray going over the Saints line and Mark Woodrow converted in the 18th minute.
Just before the half hour mark and the home side were level after left wing Bruce Reihana went over for his 6th try of the season and Stephen Myler as a replacement for the injured Barry Everitt slotted over the conversion.
Ten points in two minutes soon after changed the match as the Saints went into a 17-7 lead as Myler put over a penalty goal and converted a try from right wing Chris Ashton, his 6th try of the season.
The home side got their 3rd try on 48 minutes as full back Carlos Spencer went over and Myler converted for 24-7. Woodrow pulled three points back for the visitors but just after the hour mark the home side got the bonus point try as second row Damien Browne touched down for a 29-10 lead.
Gray completed a double on 72 minutes to get the visitors a bit nearer but late in the game Myler put over a penalty goal and the converted an injury time try from Scottish International Sean Lamont on his return from the RWC.
Esher 14 Cornish Pirates 24

Cornish Pirates remain in fourth place after this away win at Esher.
James Moore put the Pirates ahead with a 7th minute penalty goal and a 3-0 lead which was cancelled out by Neil Hallett on 19 minutes.
The visitors went back in front on 22 minutes when full back Oliver Thomas went over for a try and three minutes later Moore put over a second penalty goal to make it 11-3 but just before the break Hallett put over a second penalty goal.
Moore slotted over a third penalty goal to make it 14-6 after 45 minutes.
Hallett pulled three more points back for the home side on 52 minutes but two minutes later Moore went over for a try and this time Thomas converted to make it 21-9 and put some daylight between the sides.
Prop Duncan Cormack went over for Esher on 68th minute for his 3rd try of the season and the home side were within seven of the Pirates. .
Thomas wrapped up the win on 78 minutes with his third penalty goal.
Nottingham 27 Sedgley Park 17

Nottingham are up into fifth place after this home win over Sedgley Park picking up all five points on offer.
Tom Barlow put the home side ahead with a penalty goal on 13 minutes and centre Matt Smith made it 8-0 on 20 minutes with the games opening try.
Winger Chris Briers got Park of the mark with a try on 25 minutes and Phil Jones slotted over the conversion before giving the visitors the lead with a drop goal and they led 10-8 at half time.
Flanker Luke Sherriff went over for his 7th try of the season and the home side were back in front at 15-10.
They went further ahead on 61 minutes with a try from prop Matt Parr before securing the win and the try bonus point on 73 minutes when centre Tim Molenaar touched down and Ben Thompson converted. Park did manage a second try late on when hooker Jonny Roddam touched down and Jones converted.
