Bedford Blues 62 Moseley 17

Comprehensive win for the Blues at home to Moseley running in ten tries with scrum half Karl Dickson getting a hat trick whilst centre Liam Roberts bagged a brace.
It was the visitors who took the lead when Greg McDonald put over a penalty goal in the 6th minute.
On 10 minutes Dickson got his first try and James Pritchard converted. Moseley were back in front two minutes later as winger Daniel Norton touched down and McDonald converted. Dickson got a second as the Blues went in front and they went further ahead when Roberts got his first just before the half hour mark. Moseley got a second but two tries in a minute late in the half saw the Blues secure the try bonus point and take a 31-17 lead into the break.
In the 2nd half they added five unanswered tries to pass the 50 point mark and claim their biggest win of the season.
Coventry 17 Newbury 22

Excellent away win for Newbury, just their third win of the season.
Coventry made the better start and went into a 17-8 half time lead after tries from second row Ollie Hodge, No 8 Laurence McGlone and flanker Henno Venter and Ben Russell put over a conversion. Whilst for the visitor’s flanker Douglas Abbott went over and Tim Walsh put over a late penalty goal.
Six minutes into the 2nd half and Newbury were right back in it as flanker Chris Morgan went over and Walsh added the conversion. Six minutes alter and the visitors were in front as replacement Isoa DamuDamu touched down and Walsh again converted in what turned out to be the final score of the match.
Doncaster 12 Cornish Pirates 16
Doncaster: Pens: Woodrow 4 (6, 23, 46, 58).
Cornish Pirates: Try: Fairhurst (14). Con: Steenson. Pens: Steenson 3 (34, 62, 74).
Doncaster slipped to their second defeat of the season going down at home to Cornish Pirates but remain in season place but with three sides within four points of them.
Mark Woodrow kicked the home side ahead on six minutes with a penalty goal but eight minutes later and the Pirates were in front after scrum half Ed Fairhurst went over for what was the games only try and Gareth Steenson converted for 7-3. Before half time Woodrow and Steenson exchanged penalty goals and the Pirates went in 12-6 ahead.
Woodrow kicked the home side into a 12-10 lead just before the hour mark but in the final quarter Steenson slotted two penalty goals for the visitors to give them the win.
Exeter Chiefs 11 Northampton Saints 25

The match of the day went the way of the Saints as they made it 11 wins on the trot but dropped their first point of the season as they missed out of the try bonus point for the first time.
The Chiefs were first on the scoreboard with their prolific winger Josh Drauniniu going over for a try on eight minutes and a 5-0 lead. Stephen Myler then slotted over a couple of penalty goals to go 6-5 ahead after 17 minutes. Just before the half hour mark Danny Gray put the home side ahead with a penalty goal. It was the visitors who led at half time as right wing Chris Ashton went over for his 12th try of the season and an 11-8 lead.
Three minutes into the second half and centre Robbie Kydd went over for the Saints and Myler converted for a 10 point lead at 18-8.
Gray pulled three points back with a penalty goal to get within a score of the Saints.
Scrum half Mark Robinson sealed the win on 78 minutes with a try and Myler converted as the Saints extended their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
Cornish All Blacks 23 Nottingham 31

Nottingham continued their excellent recent win with this away success at Polson Bridge over the Cornish All Blacks and with the way the results went are now just two points off second place.
The visitors were ahead on 13 minutes when hooker Alex Loney went over for a try and Greg Tonks converted for 7-0. James Oreland pulled three points back for the home side but Nottingham went 14-3 ahead on 22 minutes when wing Alex Dodge went over and Tonks again converted. Ireland pulled three points back for the home side but just before the break flanker Craig Hammond got the third home try and they went in 19-6 ahead.
Two minutes into the second half and they had the try bonus point sewed up as prop Nigel Hall went over to make it 24-6. The home side made it over the visitors try line as winger Matt Jess went over and Ireland converted. Both sides managed another try in the final quarter and Nottingham took the win and all five points on offer.
Pertemps 23 Bees Esher 29

Esher: Tries: Campbell (17), Amesbury2 59, 73), Flockhart (80). Cons: Hewitt. Pen: Hewitt (52).
Esher’s excellent run continued with this away success at Pertemps Bees their second successive away win and their fourth win of the season.
The Bees were ahead after four minutes when winger James Aston went over for a try and a 5-0 lead. The lead lasted 13 minutes until hooker James Campbell went over for a try and fly half David Hewitt converted. The Bees were back in front n 25 minutes when Jon Higgins put over a penalty goal and by half time they looked on their way to a win as they got further tries form prop Matt Long and full back Reece Spee and went in 18-7 ahead.
Hewitt put over a penalty goal for the visitors but a try double from winger Charlie Amesbury turned the game and Esher found themselves 22-18 ahead.
Back came the Bees with their other winger Uche Odouze going over and they were 23-22 ahead. .
Esher then snatched the win with a try from full back Douglas Flockhart and Hewitt converted as Esher took all five points on offer.
Rotherham 3 London Welsh 17

Welsh: Try: Quigley. Pens: Ulph 4 (19, 26, 49, 71).
Excellent away win for London Welsh at Clifton Lane as they pick up their four win of the season.
The Welsh took the lead on 12 minutes with what turned out to be the only try of the match as second row Howard Quigley went over and they were 5-0 ahead.
Sam Ulph extended the lead to 11-0 by half time with two penalty goals.
Ulph made it 14-0 on 49 minutes with his 3rd penalty goal of the match. The Titans finally got on the scoreboard with fly half Brendan Nolan putting over a penalty goal.
Ulph wrapped up the win on 71 minutes with his 4th penalty goal.
Sedgley Park 14 Plymouth Albion 20

Albion: Tries: Owen (43), Penalty try (77). Cons: Laidlaw 2. Pens: Laidlaw 2 (5, 39).
Albion are up into seventh pace after this away win at Park Lane over Sedgley Park after getting a 77th minute penalty try to take the win.
Ross Laidlaw gave the visitors the lead with a 5th minute penalty goal. Park took the lead on 23 minutes when No 8 Jon Skurr went over for s try and Phil Jones converted. Laidlaw added a second penalty goal but they went in trailing 7-6 at half time.
Three minutes into the 2nd half and Albion were ahead after hooker James Owen went over for s try and Laidlaw converted for a 13-7 lead.
Just after the hour mark and Park were back in front after flanker Adam Newton went over the visitors try line and Jones converted for 14-13.
Albion snatched the win when referee Rowan Kitt awarded them a penalty try and Laidlaw converted leaving Park with a losing bonus point.
