THE Tigers return to league action by welcoming new boys Esher to Park Lane (kick-off 2.30pm).
When the two clashed down in Surrey back in September, the Tigers won 23-30, although it should have been by a bigger margin.
Since then Esher, who were promoted as National Division Two champions, have moved up to mid-table.
“Their coach Mike Schmid, who I have a lot of time for, will have them well organised and they with be full of confidence,” said Director Rugby, Tim Fourie.
“But this is a game we want to win; a game we should win; a game we need to win. It’s going to be tight with the team making the least mistakes coming out on top. So we need to be aggressive and prepared to play in whatever conditions the weather throws at us.
“We will be making one or two changes. New signing Luther Burrell will start at 12 and with experienced players like Andy Craig and Phil Jones either side of him; he should be able to settle in quickly.”
“Chris Leck should be back but we have yet to decide who will start at scrum-half; him or Jamie Albinson, while in the forwards Juan Crous and Ed Norris will start in the second row.”
