THE Tigers cross the roses’ border to Yorkshire and Castle Park to take on a Doncaster Knights side currently lying in fifth spot.
This will be the Knights’ third consecutive home game in as many weeks. Having lost their last three games – a narrow defeat away to Pertemps Bees along with league and cup encounters against Northampton Saints – they will no doubt be looking to return to winning ways and fancy their chances of doing the double over the Tigers.
In the first meeting between the two back in October they waltzed away with a fine 17-47 victory.
For this encounter they will have backs Donovan Van Vuuren and Paul Bailey fit again, while the Tigers make two changes to their starting 15.
Returning to the inside centre berth is the powerful Luther Burrell, with Freeman Payne moving to the bench.
At scrum-half Jamie Albinson misses out due to a hamstring strain and is replaced by fit-again Chris Leck.
On the bench the Tigers have drafted in Leeds Carnegie Academy player Danny White as scrum-half cover, with Steve Nutt and Matt Riley both dropping to the seconds.
White is highly rated by Stuart Lancaster at Leeds. He has already featured for England Under 18s and in addition to playing for Leeds Academy he also gained league experience with Harrogate in National Division Three North earlier in the season.
