Petrus Du Plessis TIGERS’ South African-born prop Petrus Du Plessis made his England debut in the England Counties XV’s 3-27 win over a USA Select XV in the opening game of its three-match tour to the US and Canada. ‘Parra’ started on the bench in the game played at Colombia University in New York on Friday but got on the pitch to show the Americans what he has been showing his ND1 opponents for the past couple of seasons – what a formidable scrummager and ball-carrier he is.
