Attendees: 2008/9 season U16’s, Junior Colts, Senior Colts
What you can expect from us:
You will be tested on Week 1 over 3 standard tests. You will receive a structured coaching programme over the following 8 weeks culminating in a re-testing over the same standard tests. Your results will be made available to you, your team coaches and the new Under 21 coaching team. You will be instructed in sprinting technique, core strength developments, plyometrics, interval training. Towards the end of the course (around week 7/8) the training will be made more rugby ‘specific’.
Our goal is to improve your speed, acceleration and agility.
What we expect from you:
Regular attendance and full commitment. (family holidays excepted).
What you will need:
Appropriate clothing
Footwear - spikes, boots, trainers (your choice)
Insect repellent – important!
