TIGERS' lock/backrow Jaco 'Chopper' Swart is out of hospital.
PLAY anywhere back-five forward Jaco Swart is back home after being released from hospital.
The hard-working South African suffered a dislocated ankle AND broken fibia in the 14th minute of last Saturday’s game at Moseley and was taken straight to Birmingham’s Selly Oak Hospital.
There on Saturday night he underwent a successful operation to re-set his ankle and plate the broken bone.
Seven screws attach a metal plate to the fractured tibia and when the biggest of these comes
out in six weeks time he will be able to begin his rehabilitation.
The 26-year-old hails from Boksburg, where he played for Tigers' Director of Rugby Tim Fourie's old club.
Away from Park Lane ‘Chopper’ is currently a student on a rugby coaching course at college and everyone at Sedgley Park would like to wish him a speedy recovery and a quick return to action.
